Even if these plants are certified in accordance with standard ISO 9001 and QS9000, we use Quality tools recommended or required by the automotive standards; among them:
- Product and Process FMEA, Control Plans and Process Flowcharts Process Flowcharts
- PPAP's -Production Part Approval Process (at each plant)
- Statistical Process Control (and all capability related studies)
- Taguchi methods (at NPD level)
- Benchmarking internal (at Amorim Group level) or external (at NPD level)
- Problems Solving Methods (based on the 8D method or PDCA cycle)
The use of these tools is the result of an AIS strategic decision, which considers the Quality System as a way to become a better organization, in serving our customers. |
