CorkRubber products are used in friction applications for transportation, industrial equipment, household appliances and office machines.
Typical applications include clutch assemblies, sorting machines, and feeders. Due to the addition of cork granules to rubber, CorkRubber products have a high coefficient of friction characteristic. These products can be used in wet or dry friction applications when correctly used, operating successfully on jobs from heavy-duty transmissions to paper sorting machines.
CorkRubber can provide quick positive engagements under relatively low closing pressure or can be slipped to permit smooth shock-free engagement.
