During dynamic operating conditions, CorkRubber materials continue to maintain superior sealing characteristics during thermal expansion/ contraction and torsion flexing over long term durability cycles.

In addition to these properties, CorkRubber has unique noise abatement qualities, due to cork's unique structure of closed cell construction. Engineered system designs offer complete noise insulation by using CorkRubber as both a gasket seal and noise insulator when combined with the fastener assembly.

Cork's closed cell structure is also effective in insulating vibration, which is why synthetic elastomers combined with cork create a very effective product in the reduction of vibration.
