Using our Advanced Search form provides ways to filter results based on more specific and technical information when you already know what you want.

To limit the products that Advanced Search finds in the Application Tree, you can:

You can enter some text in the "General information and Application" field that will be compared to the information in the products data sheets.

If you want to narrow your search and if you have the knowledge of the materials specifications, find the tests you want to search and press "Add to Search Form". After this you will be able to specify the exact values that our products must meet to be listed.

A specifications can be an interval of values, like temperatures, ranging from 10¡ to 70¡. In this particular cases, the only thing you need to do is to specify the value required for your application. If we can find specifications with that value within ranges, they will be listed.

e.g. You search for any material with a compressibility at 400 psi of 40%:

1. In "Physical Tests", chose "Compressibility 400 psi ASTM F 36 and press "Add to search form"
2. In the new field, added to the search form, enter the value "40" (without the quotes). You don't need to specify the % symbol
3. Press the "Search" button
4. If the system can find products matching your criteria, they will be listed in a table. Click on a listed grade and scroll if needed until you can find the Compressibility specification
5. Finally: check if the specification range has a minimum value lower than or equal to 40 and a maximum or peak value equal to or bigger than 40.

Searching for Chemical Compatibility

Using the Advanced Search method you can also search for materials that are suitable for use against specific chemicals.

e.g. You can chose "Methane" in the Chemical Compatibility combo-box, press "Search" and every grade suitable for Methane will be listed. Found products are listed and ordered by highly recommended to acceptable products.
